With a background in stockbroking and using analytics tools for market forecasting through to the beginnings of analysing online user behaviour, data has always played a large role in Tim’s career. His previous involvement with developing and leading digital teams has seen Tim become mentor and leader in analytics and optimisation for both the companies we work with and the db team. Inspired by directly helping people, Tim’s biggest reward is getting them to reach that ‘aha moment’ so the move to consultancy and starting Digital Balance was a natural progression. ‘When you work closely with digital teams and get to watch people come to grips with something they didn’t know, when the lightbulb goes off…That’s truly a great moment.’
